Antique Automobile Club Northern OhioChapter (AACA) is blessed with over 90 enthusiastic members who share a common interest and passion for antique automobiles and self propelled vehicles. Ranging from classic automobiles like Duesenberg, Winton, Packard and Cadillac to Studebaker, Ford, Chevrolet, Pontiac, Chrysler and Dodge, as well as foreign cars like Honda, Fiat, Porsche and Volkswagen, our love of the automobile brings us together to form and enjoy friendships.

Radio Talk Show Featuring Cleveland Automobile History.

Did you know that Cleveland Ohio was the “MotorCity” the center of the automobile industry in the United States before Detroit?

Did you know that White Motors is still in existence as Viking White sewing machines in Westlake Ohio?

Then learn more from our AACA Northern Ohio Chapter radio talk show that reveals the history of Cleveland and Northeast Ohio’s automotive roots. Discussions will take place on various automobiles that were developed in Cleveland that have long disappeared e.g. Winton, Templar, Stearns,Peerless,Jordan, Baker Electric and White.

There were over 80 various automobile’s built in Cleveland, as well as hundreds of parts and accessory manufacturer’s that thrived during the-hey day of early automobiledom. We’ll converse with historians that will give us an insight into the industrialists that inspired the development of the automobile and the industry that followed.

This radio talk show will communicate the accomplishments of what Cleveland had to offer during the birth of the industry. The listening audience can also share stories, e.g. family members telling of their parents or grandparents that may have worked in some of these Cleveland automotive factories and give us an insight to those companies. We’ll also discuss the significance and accomplishments that these early Cleveland pioneers developed that we now take for granted.

The AACA Northern Ohio Chapter Ohio Region is a 501c3 non profit. Proceeds of this show go to the development of programs and activities related to the educational, historical and preservation aspects of self propelled vehicles. Donations are fully tax deductible to the extent of the law.

Ownership of an antique automobile is not a requirement for membership with the AACA.
